Who we are

LYXUP provides a marketplace for travel, mobility, accommodation, delivery, business transport and experience services. This policy explains how LYXUP processes personal information when you use our website, customer services and WhatsApp communication channel.

Information we process

• Account and contact details, including name, email address and telephone number.
• Booking and service details, including requested routes, dates, passenger or guest information and service preferences.
• Messages sent to our support channels and associated delivery or status information.
• Technical and security information such as device, browser, IP address, session and consent records.
• Payment status and transaction references. Card details are handled by the selected payment provider and are not stored by LYXUP.
• An advertising click identifier (such as gclid) when you arrive from an ad and have accepted marketing cookies, kept with your booking to measure the result of the ad.

How we use information

• Provide, confirm and support requested services.
• Communicate booking, account, security and service updates.
• Prevent fraud, secure accounts and investigate operational issues.
• Comply with legal, accounting and regulatory duties.
• Improve service quality using aggregated or appropriately protected information.

Sharing and international processing

We share only the information needed with approved service partners, payment and communications providers, hosting providers and authorities where legally required. Providers may process information in other countries using contractual, technical and organizational safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

When a booking that came from an ad is paid, we may share with the advertising account of the service provider only the ad click identifier and the time, amount and currency of the payment, without your name or contact details, so the provider can measure the result of their ad.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purpose collected, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal obligations. We use access controls, encrypted provider credentials, audit records and other appropriate safeguards.

We keep the ad click identifier for no more than 90 days from the click, which is the period in which the advertising provider accepts a result being recorded.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or stop WhatsApp messages by contacting us. Some booking and financial records may be retained where required by law or needed to resolve an active transaction.
